Adrienne Schulte was born in Guatemala City, but grew up in Carlisle, PA. It was there she began her ballet training at the age of 7 at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the direction of Marcia Dale Weary. She trained there for nine years, and attended various summer programs on scholarship such as the Bolshoi Ballet Academy at Vail and the School of American Ballet in New York City. At the age of 16, she left Pennsylvania to do two years of extensive training at the Paris Opera Ballet School in France. She returned to New York in the summer of 1998 and was hired by the American Ballet Theatre Studio Company. Later that year, Adrienne joined the main company of ABT and she has since been there dancing in the corps de ballet.
Various roles that Adrienne has danced at ABT include the two swans in Swan Lake, one of the flower girls in Don Quioxte, the fourth song in Dark Elegies and workwithinwork. She has also danced roles in ballets by Mark Morris, Paul Taylor, and Stanton Welch.
